That's about the nicest looking truing stand I've ever seen. Is it purpose built for that or was it something else in an earlier life?

Totally purpose built. I think it's almost a hundred years old. It has a 1919 stamp on the bottom.

It's embarrassing when manufacturers refer to their own products as "this beast".

Wow Jenn whoever did that was a good artist. That looks like the little guy landed on your foot! Nice.
That's exactly what I was going for, Mike :) I will definitely be going back to this artist for the rest of my ink.

Not me or mine but yesterday I bought one of these, get it in a month :)

Yeah, about $500 new now. Looked at their website and they were established postwar. 1919 must be the model number or casting number.

Thankfully, it works for all my two wheeled vehicles.

I've never paid under $200 for a helmet in my life. I researched Fly and found they didn't just go the polycarbonate route and used their experience building mx lids in designing this line. They could easily sell these for $600-800. I like what I see. It fits well, has huge air vents, is light, and I'm hoping fairly quiet.

something has to make it cost less... where is it made?

Taking the Weslake down for its usual preseason inspection I wasn't expecting any surprises but got one. I think I found out the reason it was so slow at Bonneville last year.

Thought I was going to be in for a long search and found out Wiseco make a GM speedway piston. "Yes sir we have one on the shelf." $291!!! Came in a nice black drawstring bag. Wasn't sure if I got a bottle of perfume or a piston. Handsome piston but for that money it better be!

Got the seat done for the titan
