Post a pic of your latest purchase

Oops - to late. I've already dropped them off at Honda of Knoxville for mounting. New 100/90-19 and 130/90-17 Duro 918s for the Hunley. No more 13 year-old tires!

Been kinda lucky in July!!

Thing 1: This was sitting under a for sale sign on the side of the road. Didn't take long to decide to put it in the back of the truck. 1972 Kawasaki MT1....75cc oil injected 2 stroke. It's only ever going to be a cottage toy, but I can't help myself----already started cleaning it up a bit, and over the winter the blue "flame" themed paint on the front fender, gas and oil tanks will go back to something close to original orange.
Needs new front brakes and a couple of other little things, but this little stink wheel starts and runs great.

Thing 2: A very kind and generous riding buddy ....gave... me this.

I've known it was coming for a while, so have been googling a little and have an idea of what I'll do with it. So, started tearing down, to a point where carbs could be pulled-----couldn't believe how clean they were ---

so they went back on and we fired her up.

Tear down will continue.

Now some proper rides can commence!

For protecting the foam Kury iso grips while working. They show dirt & grease real bad so....

Better? See below for the photos my phone garbled.

That's what I get for trying to post from my Microsoft Phone.

You could try using the "ribbed for her pleasure" type, but don't try the lubricated ones, I don't imagine that would be very successful! (Of course I suppose it could bring new meaning to the words "hard on the throttle".)

Lol still not sure why you are using them. Are they custom made grips?
Kury quit making this style grip many years ago (I bought these from a closed shop's liquidation inventory). It has a nice brown grip area that just loves to suck the grease off your hands or gloves. I'd like to keep the grips looking good for a long time. I bought some Trojans at $10 for a dozen, and these were $12 for a hundred. They give good grip, too!

Ok, I give up on electronic tacho for the CB390 and bought this cheap mechanical one !

Looks surprisingly good and seems to work smoothly :)

If its a keeper i’ll make a new bracket so it sits nicely next to the ‘Ton Up’ speedo.
