They still sell them, and rebuild kits. The guy I bought it from thinks he bought it in the 50s. But it has gas and lights right up, so well worth $100 to me.Those regulators are old school
Yeah, I'm not a welder by trade, but I do have a mig and tig setup. This will probably end up used mostly to heat and bend parts, and anneal material for forming.Hell ya man. Awesome score
Nice, I'm a welder/fabricator by trade. Always love seeing the old tools/machines. Don't repaint any of that stuff haha. Looking forward to seeing some of that metal work!Yeah, I'm not a welder by trade, but I do have a mig and tig setup. I'm going to attempt to make my own fenders for the norton/honda hybrid. I might buy a cheap fender as a template so I have a goal for proportions.Nice, I'm a welder/fabricator by trade. congrats on the Guzzi
What do you think of it so far? I'm currently contemplating a lightly used 2021 V7 stone 850
So far so good. I cracked off about 1600 miles the first 6 weeks. Added a taller gel touring seat with a mesh cover, rear Hepco Becker rack, mounts for saddle bags. River Road saddle bags, lower pegs,What do you think of it so far? I'm currently contemplating a lightly used 2021 V7 stone 850
Great to see you racking up the miles! The bike looks clean and classy. So far so good. I cracked off about 1600 miles the first 6 weeks. Added a taller gel touring seat with a mesh cover, rear Hepco Becker rack, mounts for saddle bags. River Road saddle bags, lower pegs,
I'm a taller guy ,so its more comfortable.
Could use some better suspension ( that will be next)View attachment 241511

Looks like a perfect fall rider and spring flipper! Nice score manI recently found a deal on a 2000 model Suzuki GFS1200 "Bandit" that had sat for a couple of years. The carbs cleaned up pretty well, though they gave me a bit of trouble with a few seized pilot jets. It also got a brake/ clutch fluid flush and an oil change, which rendered it more or less road worthy, less a set of tires coming this week.
It's a well ridden bike with 72k on the clock, which shows when you get up close to it, but it still looks presentable enough. It may be a flipper after getting ridden for the fall reason, but it's a bike I've wanted to own since riding a friend of mines about 15 years ago.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at a V7 stone, but in a strange turn of events, My dad ended up seeing one and I think he may end up buying one instead of me, and Ill end up purchasing his 05 Buell XB12S that hes replacing it with. He just turned 62 and is wanting a bit more relaxed of a bike to ride, and honestly, Id rather have the Buell. So far so good. I cracked off about 1600 miles the first 6 weeks.
