went to the DMV today to put the DT400 in my name and get temp plates. Apparently this DMV does not offer that service.. doh. Its super hot out, and I was looking forward to putting around on my DT400 with some temp plates on it. Oh well, gotta wait til tomorrow I guess... Maybe Ill take a spin around the block though, just for the hell of it.

ya, Im super excited man! Gonna go get it put in my name and temp plates today. I definitely want to do the tracker thing. At first I thought this would just be my bike to throw around, but that yamaha tracker pic that was linked in chat was just too sexy, so this will be the winter project probably. But for the summer it will stay as is except maybe some new cables, bars, sprocket/chain set, and some street tires.

1977 candy brown Buco lid. Added my goggles. Needs relined, but it is NOS and very nice. Was still wrapped in plastic. Anyone wanna reline it? I'll pay em!!!

All finished with the reline. New foam, and a T-shirt liner. Feels SOOOOO comfortable.

Picked up 4 of these. Not 'cause I wanted to, my sidewalls were cracking on my 6 year old tires and I was tired of risking it on my highway treks. $547 later and I feel much safer, and broke. Was hoping to put that $ toward a Fender Telecaster I've been spying.

hahaha....On Friday I went to the DMV in Niles, biggest one around, and they told me they don't do title transfers there. All of the ones that do are like 45 minutes from my house. Man I love the IL DMV.
