Milk - congratulations! If you haven't already scattered them around, may I ask if you checked this one out?

I have that one, which makes a great top box; and it's nice because it's portable and the trays are well-designed and allow you to grab all of one size of sockets at once.

Home Depot's house brand had almost the same set for a hundred bucks over turkey day and we got it for my brother-in-law so he doesn't have to walk as far while he's swearing at his Volvo. :)

Here's the CBX of my dreams...there's still a bit of work to do.

Yep, looks like you need an engine ;D
I would look for European bars though, lower and further forward, it's a CBX, don't know why they put 'Glodwing' bars on them for US market?

My plan was to sleeve each spring with a leather tube. If the bike ends up shiny and blingy, I might sand the frame smooth and have it nickle or chrome plated.

As always, Ian Barry remains a massive inspiration.

Yep, I downloaded all the pics of the Vincent build.
Wish I could weld stainless, that seat is awesome

His work is just mind boggling. It's like digging down to the atomic level to find all the special details.

Shit just got real.

In business for TIG.

That's sweet too, I had a couple gift cards. I just got back from harbor freight, they have tray liners 18X72 for $6.... I just got a toolbox top and bottom but haven't had time to line the drawers and organize the new tools

Sad little Hobie in the background. Having only welded MIG for 4 hours total, I'm already wanting to try TIG :) Nice!

Right on. Plan on taking the 1/4" ratchet back for replacement every six months or so. Great way to get to know the Craftsman folks. :)

The Hobart still has its purpose Ive been building bikes with it for years. Hell that welder built Gretta. The TIG is for the more refined work. All I need is my plasma and I will be well rounded!

Plasma (said like Homer Simpson says "Donuts")...

I've played with one at my friends racecar/restomod shop when I fabbed up the reverse flip hinges for the Stepsides hood.

That's a really fun toy ;)

I just saw an on-line pic of one painted in Suzuki factory racing blue and white with what looks like a tiller tail. It was bad ass.

The link you posted is not an SV650. It's an '00 TL1000. And the tail on it is OEM.

My bad, the frame threw me. It does say TLS on the upper. I didn't know Suzuki made one with race rep colors. Anyway, pretty cool ride.
