Post a pic of your latest purchase

Well it's been in the works for a few weeks now but today I finally picked it up.

1972 TS 250 clean title and running. Pretty pumped about it.

He threw in a hooker header

Also I got a bottom end, jug, extra skid plates, original manual as well.

Found this near Ottawa this weekend.... bought it and brought it home. Xv750.

Missing tank and seat... only 14000 original km's and came with new crab boots, new throttle and clutch cables, new crab rebuild kits and new front tire... nice.

2013-bell-rs-1-rsd-flash-bronze-helmet----mcss.jpg

picked this Bell RS1 Roland Sands helmet on ebay. $480 helmet that I got for $160. Not sure why so cheap and it had the tags on it still and included a smoke windshield and clear windshield. I think it might have been a customer return or something because the box was beat to hell.
I love this helmet- fits great and works well. I like it way better than my Bell star.

I would recommend buying Bells "Photo-chromatic" shield. It is pricey at $100+ but worth EVERY penny.

I used to commute on my CBR929RR and I would leave work while it was light out, and get home after the sun set. I had a close call because i couldn't see something out of my tinted shield, while it was dark. After I bought it I never had that problem again.

Like I said worth every penny, it changes from light to dark pretty darn fast, and vice-a-versa

I used that same compressor for years.
Keep it oiled well and keep it warm, they don't like to start when it's real cold
Worked like a champ for me for years though

The old tank developed a bad leak and the compressor was just plain done. It'll end up turning into a smoker/grill.

I have the same one for about 6 months...Works great... Don't bother with the HF automatic drain. The tubing parts don't fit, and mine cracked pretty quick...First the t fitting, and then the fitting on the autodrain part itself....The brass where it broke was very thin, they cut the threads really deep on them...poor design...

Here is step one of 2 wine kits. Shiraz (1.00 a bottle) and Amerone(3.00 a bottle) when finished in 5-8 weeks. They are purcolatin in the powder room. I can keep it at the 80-85 deg perfect temp cheap as it is a 3x8 room.

I love the Shiraz.

Yep me to. It was a 60 bottle kit. 2 30 bottle bags and all the fix'ns I made the first half and between me and family it was all gone in like 3 weeks. So I am doing 2 kits this time lol. Still will end up all gone I am sure. I need to get a few more kits so I can brew it faster than I drink it. Also need to get bigger bottles.

Been doing some electrical work, which will show up soon in my build thread....Some testing for someone. Temporarily wired it up, but I need to make it permanent and reliable.

I am running low on connections, so off to Vintage connections....(order on Thursday afternoon, received on Saturday's mail, they are good!).

Some 4 pin connectors for the new equipment, and to rework some of the old. Plus some additional connectors in the second kit CK2 (Without Crimp tool). I already bought CK1, the crimping tool, and some extra 3.5mm connectors last year.

Vintage Connections is a great place. I bought some of their sheathing awhile ago and will be buying into their CK-1 kit real quick

I need to get me a CK1
The crimper I have now works fine but it's a no name 30+ yr old, still rolls the crimps but must be getting a bit tired?
