Post a pic of your latest purchase

I bought one of these USB adapters that plugs into my battery tender plug. Now I can charge my phone from my bike. I was actually going to build one of these until I found out that they already sold them.

I tried it out with my iphone and it works great. This thing will be staying in my riding jacket.

Nice! I just ordered one for myself - $12 seems pretty reasonable. I also ordered up the LCD voltage monitor / display plug - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DJ5KE9A I've been fighting with the charging system on my CB650, and this will be a bit more sane than the tape / multimeter system I'm currently using to test charging at speed.

One of the guys at the Thaw had one of those, which is what made me lookup the usb adapter. It worked great. I will be getting one of those also when I get more bike funds. They also have an adapter to convert the battery tender plug into a 12V cigarette lighter adapter for like a gps or something.

Good to hear it works well! Sadly I think it will get a lot of use around my bikes :p

Just make sure your Tender battery hookup has a fuse, and don't forget it's not switched so whatever is plugged in will draw 24/7.

Yea, I picked up the "official" pigtails with the 7.5A fuse in them. No, I have not blown any of them yet ;D

My plan would be to use the voltage monitor only when test riding the bike. I normally have them on a tender when they're parked anyway.

Used transmission and balancer assembly arrived today for the XL, both look great.

Yeah - I like that - looks to be in great condition. I had one for about 6 months in California about 10 years ago now. I loved it but had to sell it when I left the country... what do they go for these days - ballpark?
