Post a pic of your latest purchase

Picked this up on a clearance sale online, shipped for free to my local Ace Hardware. $39.99 and it comes with a screen for one side. We noticed last summer that the morning/evening sun is not stopped by the canopy and it would be great to have a screen for one. Our Harbor Freight canopy is on its last leg anyway. This packs down to only 27" long. The canopy is only 6'x6' (legs spay out to 7'x7'), but that's all we need for the two of us and a cooler.

Since we’ve started to get some nice weather and my SV is probably deep in to Mexico by now, I ended up grabbing a CB900F! It’s already been very well gone over by the previous owner, so I’m really only planning on doing a few minor things.

That's sexy! My tap and die set has gone off the rails. I just buy random pairs of taps as I need them.

I’ve thought of taking that route, and held out/borrowed for a while. Finally bit the bullet. So far, pound for pound, the best purchase I’ve ever made. Lol

That looks like a good set, most of what you'd need for a bike for sure. I have a little smaller one and once and a while I don't have the one I need and have to borrow or buy and that sucks as a single tap or die is like 1/4 the cost of a full set unless you luck into a sale.

I just bought me a 2004 Chevy Astro Van AWD. 124k miles on the clock. $4500.

The plan is to do a 3" lift, add a rack, maybe add a bull bar and winch, then drive it to my sister's house in Utah this summer with the family. Something a bit like this:

That is super clean man. All vans are cool but I always liked the 4 wheel drive Astros. Changed many a motor on these at the GM dealer years ago, not because the 4.3 was bad, usually due to neglect or abuse. Yours looks well cared for. Here's my poor VW van out in the cold wishing it was in warm rust free Utah.

We always had Astro vans when we were karting, right up until we bought an Express. My dad affectionately called them "Asshole Vans."

They were pretty decent vehicles. One of the race teams I worked on had a five speed manual Astro, that thing was pretty sweet. The auto transmissions were always a bit dodgy.

Used to know a guy who swapped in the engine/trans from an IROC-Z. Made for a very interesting grocery getter. He took an "F" from a GMC Safari emblem and added it to the rear logo on his van... making it a FASTRO :p
