Post a pic of your latest purchase

Just sold my dr650. It was a great machine, and if we're honest I question if I should've. Plus you just multiplied your aftermarket options by like 6000% lol

A couple of my buddies now have 650 dualsports (a KLR and an XR650R) and we're planning some trips this spring/summer and I wasn't in love with my 1990 DR650 so I picked up this 2002 for a song this morning.

Anybody need a really nice 1990 DR650 lol?

My neighbor’s dad sold his building, so my neighbor gave me a retired hill climb Fazer for free. I don’t feel like this is cause for celebration.

And you don't feel like there's an Uphill Hellride in there somewhere?

After a year and a half long hiatus, I decided it was time to get back on 2 wheels. Since my wife has had the itch, I picked her up a TU250. I may catch flack for this, but to hell with carburetors. This time, I just wanted something that ran.
The CB750 was pretty, but this one may actually get me some mileage.

Don't feel bad. EFI is great, it's why my 78 XS has efi on it. Don't get me wrong, carbs work and aren't too hard to fiddle with but efi is simpler. Go up a mountain and you don't end up needing adjustments.

I put a 383 stroker in my 79 C10 and better damn believe the next part I buy for that truck will be a Fitech or Holly Sniper EFI.

I've got Fitech on the GMC and Sniper on the boat. Haven't run the sniper other than initial startup yet but both units are nice and more than worth the price of admission IMO.
I think the sniper was a bit quicker to to install but they are both cake.

My yamaha has a microsquirt ecu, nice for flexibility and price but more of a diy rather than bolt on. I've got about $700 in the conversion, including switching to ls2 coils for ignition.

When I got my '86 SEi after the '77 GL1000 I was so happy to just stab the starter and go. The '06 GL1800 is the same. These old GL1000s I've been rescuing are cold shouldered and have to be nursed off of the cokes, but EFI is not a simple solution for them. Still, they are miles better than the carbs on the '79 CB759F that I rescued. That thing took at least 10 miles to settle down every time.

I grabbed a sweetly clean and low mile '06 Triumph Speed Triple 1050 this weekend... Can't wait to get some miles on this baby.

I borrowed one of those things from a mate of mine last summer and still can't get the grin off my face. I was doing 140 in second gear before I'd even buttoned up my jacket.
