Post a pic of your latest purchase

Yep, I rented a GS BMW 2017 model and man I liked it. Jill said, could we afford one of these. I said maybe some day LOL.

Levi's F800 is a 2010 and was, IMHO, very reasonably priced compared to what many of us spend on our vintage jalopies. I'm hauling a friend's 2005 R1200ST back to Canada with me and will probably sell it for under $3K USD.

Don't have to buy a 5 year old bike to get the modern conveniences, but you do need to accept the maintenance issues associated with modern bikes. Fairings, computers, ABS systems etc.

How many miles are on that R1200ST?

Not sure - it's complicated as it's a Canadian bike and was never imported into the US. The only way to do that is to take it back to Canada and then bring it back across at a land crossing and import it at that point.

It's doable, but I haven't looked into the process to import into the US. Bike will be in Toronto - if it goes up for sale I'll keep you posted.

Nah... don't want to go through that. :) Enjoying the Rockster, so I'll just keep enjoying it.

I got a pitbike to go with the cr80 conversion. Tao tao dbx1, 140cc with a 4 speed.

This followed me home today from a couple states away.

135HP, bit more upright seating than a sport bike, and those sweet triple sounds.

Should make for some good fun in the mountains.

The triples have some grunt. I haven't ridden a 1k, but the 675 flat out moved, and the tiger 800 moves pretty good for a 500lb cruiser. You'll have some fun on that speed triple.

She's definitely quick. I like the riding position.

And, it was about time for a new lid. So, I ordered one of these to match.

Nice lid. I just bought an Arai too, my first decent helmet. Figured I was spending money on everything else so probably time to look after my cranium as well. Arai Rapide -

I've had a few over the years. The lack of wind noise, and the light weight alone make them worth the money. My neck hurt a lot less on long rides after buying a good helmet.
