Post a pic of your latest purchase

Nice get! Do yourself a huge favor and replace those dime store carabiners with a proper set of hooks. It'd be a shame if you lost a bike because it jumped off the hitch. It'd be a tragedy if it also ended up in oncoming traffic and took somebody out as well.
Yeah they do need to go. I bought it right before a thunderstorm hit so just wanted to get it hooked up and get out of there... In fact there are a couple changes that need to be made but it has to wait until I get other things done. Turns out getting the trailer led to rearranging the garage which led to working on the basement too which led to listing a few thign sfor sale which led to dealing with the general public... but at least I've got a decent trailer now. ;-)

Project creep!!! We were given a free dining room table once and it started a whole house remodel!

I'm pretty jazzed about today's $40 purchase. I've been on the lookout for die filer for a few years. This one popped up about 2 hrs north of me on fb marketplace and I went and grabbed it from a really cool old tool and die maker. He was glad that I came and got it so he could tell his sons that someone actually wanted it and drove that far to get it. They were trying to talk him into scrapping it!!!

After a couple of hours of cleaning the rust and oil/sawdust mixture and going over mechanicals and its ready to go.

I cannot find any markings on it other than casting numbers so I don't know the exact vintage, but I'm guessing 1950's. I've been trying to fill my shop with well made old machine tools, and this fits in well.

Nice, Hurco! I agree on getting the sawdust debris off ASAP. Helped a friend with an old British lathe that had been in a woodworking shop for decades. Lots of corrosion in places sawdust had built up, even though it was only used for metal. Widh I had space for such nice old tools.

Nice score.

Paid $100 for one about a half decade ago at a yard sale, just because it was neat. Had a hacksaw blade in it.

I've been looking for an unmolested Monster M900 so yesterday I bought this.

No, it's not a Monster. No, it isn't anywhere near unmolested. What can I say, I've always had a soft spot for the 900ss. This is my 3rd one.

Bought myself this beauty, wanted a tig machine since forever. Super pumped to test it out and start practicing.

@ridesolo and I made the 4 hour pilgrimage up to see Charlie and Ted and the world renowned Checkered Past Cycles today in Galesburg Michigan, and this sweet little velorex 562 sidecar jumped in the back of the truck. I actually been talking with Ted about it for years but have never had the chance to make the trip until today. It's in good nick overall, but the fender needs a bit of friendly persuasion as well as a windshield and a seat back.

We have a 2.5 year old son who already has the motor head bug and likes to ride on anything that rolls and goes. I'm hoping this will be a fun way to enjoy motorcycling with him on back roads and around the family farm. (New project thread will follow with details soon)

Yep, it was a beautiful day to ride north and see countryside, cycles, and good bikers! And it was the longest I've ridden shotgun in years. Thanx for a great day, Levi!

Ditched the bugeyes on the Speed Triple and went with a LED. Way brighter.

This bike has been a blast thus far.

I kinda like the bug eyes.

But I'll have to get a pic later, picked up a 89 RM250 dirt cheap "locked up." 5 minutes and some kroil and it spins.
