this is actually way cooler than i thought it would be lol.....thats a big tire for that bike though.
thank you.. If I could off a 360 would be there instead lol

Nice work..

I don't get it though? Poor handling, crappy performance. I'm confused....

Form over function I guess?

Like I said though, the fab work is awesome...

Man, I'm still trying to sort out how that swingarm articulates. AWESOME!

^ you realize youre in the chop and bob section right?? lol

Ya I do... But I dont still understand it.

This wheel is going to kill the performance of that bike. Acceleration is going to suffer big time. To bob had @ one time had performance benefits. And most choppers still haul ass...

I'm not trying to be an ass. This is only my opinion.

I'm digging it. That is a wild tensioner. Gear it right and look at the sky from 0-60 ;D. Everything is big and it all kind of works with the width of the 750. Kinda like a straight away drag bike. Make sure you know what catagory it falls under or you will be accused of not knowing what you are doing by the tracker gods ::)

Hahaha, I hate categories. Chopper, bobber, cafe, fighter, brat...its a f'n bike. Build it ride it. I guess categories have their place but so often the lines are blured now a days. Oh,... and I was being serious about the tracker gods ;D

Troy I hear ya...

I'm all for building new and different. I'm not trying to upset this builder in any way. I was kinda hoping he was going to reply w/ "I'm not too worried about performance, I plan on running 20lbs of boost"..... haha

As I read the title, only sheer morbid curiosity made me open the thread. Definately much cooler than I was expecting, I love the new meets old bikes and cars. I'd never rock a tire that wide myself, but I'll definately be watching your progress.

I have to say that is some design greatness and fabbing madness, but my only question is........WHY? :'(

Ya beat me to it. And the answer "because I can" is not acceptable.

Please don't tell me those blue canisters are the oil tanks.

Well said brother.

I hope he comes back and answers some questions too like, about the engineering. I really dig the double carrier bearing set up. I'd like to see more detail on that. It is pretty intriguing. Might be common but I've not paid any attention to the big wheel bikes.
Louie I know your not against being different. I think you were pointing out the obvious. Its all good. I was admiring the build and realized this one might be hard to slide into a specific catigory. Hence, the poke at the tracker gods and their fixation of categories;D.

the machine work alone on the hub is impressive... i know with the 300 we got ont he chop it turns like a tank but hell it looks cool! if it where me i woudl airbag it so when you stop you can drop it to the ground on the frame rails... differnet concept... one of my buddies is doing a 200 rear on his CB750 looks perfect! looks awesome in fact! one of the shops here is also doing a 240 rear spoke... i have a feeling this style will be big! and i thought i was out of the box putting a 140/16 on my Cb350

Not my thing, but great work. I'll be staring and occasionally poking this thread with a stick, kinda like you would a dead body. Should be fun.
