Very nice, that's going to look really sweet. Glad to see another DFW build.

Didn't realize you were in DFW. I've been following your build. What part of the metroplex are you in? I'd like to get an active DFW scene going.

Re: CB360 from Dallas

I'm southwest of Ft. Worth by about 30 minutes or so. In the bustling metropolis of Granbury. Haha

Re: CB360 from Dallas

Wow man, nice work so far! Maybe I missed it, but what's the color scheme for the tank?

It's going to be a yellow/green with flat black on the knee indents. From the beginning I've really wanted to make it look like a '69/'70 Mach 1 with the flat black hood. That's kind of the inspiration for the scheme.

Re: CB360 from Dallas

Nice! Can't wait to see the end result!

Re: CB360 from Dallas

I had to stop by the painter to drop my tank badges off. Snapped a pic of the swatch.

Dude. That green is awesome! Can't wait to see your tank finished!

Glad the speedo inlay turned out. Looks sharp put together.

Can't wait to get started on the kz!

Thanks again for the printing! When are you going to pick up the KZ? I want to see pics when you get it.

I'm going to rebuild the MC on the CB today. Is it a bad sign when the brake fluid has turned into a saw dust looking goo/powder?

Plan is to pick up the KZ tonight. Assuming he didn't sell it out from under me this weekend... lol. I will post a bunch of pics.

Are you working on the RD and CB at the same time? Or are you trying to finish the CB before jumping into the RD? My buddies dad is building a RD400 right now. Looks like a fun bike!

The RD is rideable. I had some issues with the carbs but I think it's all good now. Waiting on a battery in the mail for it otherwise I'd be riding today (cause it's 75 degrees, sucka!).

What's for dinner? Honda MC!

If any of you tell my wife about this so help me.

Re: CB360: Spartan

Bahaha that is hilarious.

Yeah my brother told me it's 75 there today. Ridiculous. The roads here = a ice rink. It snowed, and than rained, and than froze. Perfect for riding right? lol

I am sort of okay with it though because it makes me feel less rushed to finish my bikes. I have about 4 months before it even STARTS getting warm.

BTW my brother is looking for 1 or 2 vintage bikes for him and his wife to cruise around on. However they don't have a garage to do a rebuild, so he would prefer something ridable and inexpensive. If you come across any gems that you don't buy yourself you should let me know. I paroozed the DFW craigslist today and bikes seam pretty pricey down there. But that's probably because you can ride them year round :)

Yeah, our vintage bike market sucks. I pretty much stole the RD. If I was him I'd watch the Arkansas/Oklahoma/Louisiana CL and make the drive. He'll save a lot.

Re: CB360: Spartan

I didn't realize how great of shape your RD was until I just looked through your fBook pics. That thing is in amazing condition!

Re: CB360: Spartan

Great day! Picked up the tank/headlight bucket/brackets from the painter. I'm pretty pumped about them. I wanted the color to match a guitar I used to have and it's perfect. The knee indents are a flat black.

Now that I have the headlight setup back I can finally put the front end together.

Re: CB360: Spartan
