Thanks, man! Your Superhawk is one of my favorite bikes.

Re: CB360: Spartan UPDATED: Paint, front end on

Here's a better position. I think if I just got less bulky non-adjustable bars it'd be OK.

Nice build so far. :) Do you have any idea what the capacity of that tank is? I've been looking at them on eBay but sorta' remember hearing that they aren't very large. Besides getting a better looking tank for my CL360, I also want to get more than just a 2 gal capacity. Thanx.

Re: CB360: Spartan UPDATED: Paint, front end on

Bummer you can't make clip-on's work. I think your bike would look awesome with them.

But I think you are right. A less bulky set up clubmans will probably look great as well.

Not sure until I fill it with gas. I'd bet it's slightly larger than stock, maybe a half gallon larger.

I set a record today! The longest hardware store receipt ever. Each line contains multiple items (5 bolts is one line). However, I now have stainless hardware for everything with hex heads for most. I gave the poor cashier carpal tunnel with 30 minutes of keying. I also got a nice big shop light!

Today my new rebuildable MC came in since my original one was shot. I'll be rebuilding that this evening while watching netflix. I also got my new Air Jets for my carbs from PJ and a tach block off as well. Waiting on slimmer clubmans, carb rebuilding stuff, exhaust gasket and a couple other things I can't think of right now.

awesome work 66. This build is going to be sick!

That receipt made me laugh, at least you got most of the bolts in one trip. When I walk into Ace they just laugh and ask what I forgot this time.

Haha. I've made one trip before this one to get hardware at this particular shop but only got engine case bolts. This time I spent 2.5 hours there though...first started with hardened then realized those would rust eventually so put it all back and switched to stainless. I swear, I now know the metric section better than the stock boys.

Thanx! I wasn't sure you'd know yet but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

is it too early to nominate this for bike of the month? ;D

Now there's a complement! You better get this bike finished so we can get it nominated! :)

Haha, wow, man. Thanks. I think it's a bit premature. Let's see if I can finish it first!

By the way, Matt. I'm calling you and Kate out! You guys need to start build threads so I can watch from the comfort of my sofa!

For all of you confused by Matt & I's banter, he took the 3 other 360 project bikes off my hands last week for himself and his lady. He is also working on a sweet BMW R65.
