From everything I've read, it sounds like the whole thing started when the RR unknowingly merged onto the WSH, right into the middle of the rabble of bikers, who typically like to slow down traffic at the tail end of the pack so they can have long stretches of highway to themselves for "stunz". The bikers didn't take kindly to it and started messing with him and he called 911 to report them and probably did some honking and what not.
That takes us to the start of the video where Christopher Cruz rides right on his front fender, then cuts him off and rolls off the throttle getting himself rear ended. The RR stops and the bikers surrounf it. The camera is way too far to make anything out, but police say the bikers slashed the tires and started hitting the vehicle, at which point the RR driver panics and takes off, running over bikes and "Jay Mezee", the facebook guy.
The rest is pretty clear. Some of the recent pictures after the RR stops for the last time show the front passenger side with the rim completely bare so the tire slashing is likely, or it just was severely damaged running over the bikes.
When has it been OK to go all Mad Max on the road and think its not a bad thing ? Wait let me guess the rules mean everyone but a bunch of dudes acting like a bunch of monkeys . FUCK THESE GUYS the guy in the RR should remeber RULE #2 : Always Double Tap !! Should of brake checked all of them i say !!! Same goes for the Asshole HD guys that block off the road so there boy bands wont get lost !!!!!
So what would of happened if the guy in the RR had a CC license and capped the first guy to the window ???
All I know is when they catch these guys, the court is going to treat them like biker outlaws, I am sure there a couple of good guys that were there, but the video is going to be used as evidence against them.
Agreed. There must have been a few good guys there. But all it takes is a few rotten apples to spoil the whole bunch. And back to your earlier question about the biker's face, it's cause they wear those stupid eggshell german soldier novelty hemets. Makes them look real cool!

I certainly would have. Dude comes running up to my vehicle with my wife and child inside with obvious intent to harm I would absolutely pull a gun. And the second he touched that door handle he's getting a 9mm round straight to the chest.

And in the next few frames of the video you would see the whole family in RR massacred in the street by the thugs. Thank God this was NY or it would have been a horribly ugly scene when it was over.
The guy who bashed out the window was the most criminally negligent shown in the video and I hope they do catch him and throw the book at him.
I am more amazed that the cops got it right for a change and identified, caught and charged the guy who started it all by brake checking the RR.
I'd be surprised if the guy breaking out the window even knew the guy who got bumped on his bike.
I have my doubts about that, Marc, largely because I see a bunch of pussies with expensive toys rather than real hardasses. If they would have unloaded on the guy in that situation, I think this video would already show him being murdered.

The crowd was overly aggressive to a person defending himself. He probably didn't fight back much when drug him from his car. Do you think if he had pulled a gun and defended himself further that the crowd would not have escalated their aggression towards him. The fact that it is NY and carries a mandatory 3.5 years in prison for having an illegal gun is why that probably didn't happen. Many bikes scattered when they came upon check points. It would not surprise me at all that some of them were carrying CW and ran not only due to MV infractions that would have gotten them impounded.
Look I ride bikes and I really enjoy it.
I am not a group rider and i havenever really liked riding in large groups.
But I had something similar happen to me and my wife while we were in Florida back in 2010 laying my mother to rest.
After everything was finished we decided to take a short side trip to Tampa and on the way back we had a huge hoard of sport bikes take over the interstate.
They would not let anyone go on that wanted to and nearly cause several accidents me included.
Mainly because they would get in front of the cars and slow down at a very rapid pace just daring someone to hit them and if you tried to go around more would join in around your car.
These groups are just plain @$$holes in my book and make all bikers look bad.
Just like the idots in the Harley group that shut down an interstate so one of their fellow idiots could ask his girl to marry him.

I don't know about that. I tend to think if you shoot a couple of people everyone would start to scatter pretty fast. The long and short of it is, If it was just one dude in the car being an asshole, that would be one thing. A guy with a wife and kid in the car is a totally different situation. It should have never come to this with women and children in the car, the fact that these guys acted like this with them involved proves to me they are a bunch of idiots that should be sent to jail. Anyone who has a wife and children can attest that there isn't anything they wouldn't do to protect them and that is exactly what I saw here. this is my opinion.
Okay one other thing what happened to telling the wife to call the police while they were running and after this had happened.
She could have had them on the phone telling them there general location.
So who doesn't have a cell phone especially someone driving a Range Rover.
