Can anyone give me a brief rundown on installing these? I can figure out mounting them but from a technical standpoint? I see the shifter gets that link rod that just extends, but how does the rear brake work?

I haven't done anything as I do not currently have rearsets. These are just the first quality pair I have seen and am not familiar with the setup of them. Depending on the ease of installation, I may decide to order some (i've got a deadline to get my bike done by March 16th)
does your pedal have a link to a cable that pulls on the drum arm???? IM shooting ion the dark. looking a some pics, maybe turning the brake pedal up 90 degrees or so, and monting to that. or using the other side of the pedal. it pivots through the frame. Maybe hook up to that piece inside the frame. XS650s are similar. its been done on both bikes.
Ive had 3 guys asking for that in the last 6 hours alone. LOL. Im working on it, now, i just had to shit out 5 sets of rear sets in the last 4 days. Ill have the design hammered down this weekend at home, and make a prototype monday or tuesday. Ill keep everyone posted.
Thanks, Durgam! Appreciate your quick response and all your hard work! And the fact that you supported the site with a contribution. I wish more people could be convinced to part with $10 to keep this forum cooking.
I figure $10 is a small price to pay to have these kind of social, and business connections. I can't sell things this easy, and reach so many like minded bike enthusiasts with out it. IM trying to expand my product line, through here and a couple other discussion forums, to get my shop off the ground, without haveing to mortgage my soul.
Thanks to all, for the great comments on my products.
knurling isnt that hard. Its the manual tool changing, and set ups, and tear downs that take time. The mill work is pretty cut and dry. but its all good.
Jeez, guys.........I know what knurling is and how to do it........I was talking about the fact that it would make Durgam's shitting out 5 sets would be much more painful....the knurling that is!! I must be losing my touch....LOL!
UNIVERSAL MOUNTS ARE COMING!!!!
Heres a couple ideas im flirting with.
1) a triangular steel plate, with a spacer welded on it, to mount the pegs and levers to. Kind of Crude, not real flashy, but should get the job done on the cheap!
2) 2 weld on steel threaded bungs, and a nice looking billet al. piece that bolts to the bungs. Very functional, good looking, but slightly more expensive than the steel parts.
Let me know your thougts.....No prices yet..brfore you ask.LOL im working on that today.
