Rockers Vs Mods Philly 2012

Cool shit!
I'll be there if I find out when it is.

I'm doing up an '85 Honda 250 Elite scooter in my shop right now.

Cool. May have to head across to the dark side of PA for that. Theres always the Steel City Mods V Rockers if ya Philly folks feel like paying us a visit.

I'm in as long as it's not the same weekend as Pgh. I sent them an email asking when they are planning it.

Charm City is August 25th. Is Steel City August 11th?

With the addition of Philly, all 3 are doable.

Sept. sure hope this comes off.

Still nothing from the Philly guys. I've been asking around and nobody has anything planned.

The video was more of a promotional thing done by a salon. Not sure there is going to be an actual event.

I've met the guy who owns the Moto Guzzi in the video. He goes to "Two Wheel Tuesday" at Abbaye. Coolest bike night I have ever attended. Lots of vintage bikes and cafe racers show up.

If anybody would know if something is going on in Philly, it would be Scott. He goes to all the Mods vs Rockers events around the country.

I might have a hard time pulling off the rocker look with my ponytail and gray beard. Someone suggested shave the beard and braid the hair and go as a mod.

I don't have a thing to wear!

Sorry for the stupid question, but this is a big bike event right? The fact that a hair studio is sponsoring it and the fashion shows have me wondering ...

It's a first year event, so it's hard to say what it'll be like. The fashion show and makeovers have me a little worried, but some of the Philly Ton Up guys are helping with the show, so I'm willing to ride out there to support them.

Anyone from the York area riding out?

I was there. It was fun. More social/fashion than motorcycles, but attendance was good, lots of hot chicks, and a lot of cool bikes and scooters. The fashion show was the weakest part of it. It was poorly directed.

I was there, had to take my Sporty as the master cyclinder rebuild on my cafe type didn't go as planned. Seemed pretty well attended for a first-time event, I didn't stay for the pin-up or fashion show; although all the chicks there were HOT and very young.

Tell me alan are you the york PA alan who i sold my triumph thunderbird sport to last year. If so can i please have it back.
