Round TWO! CB350 time

jonwright

surfing and motorcycles.... yup
I picked up this cb350 yesterday for 250. Bike looks a little tired but I think it is a better start than my 360 was. Ill start tearing in to it soon.

Bike was not running but has compression and I got a title for it so that is half the battle. At first I was going to build a race bike out of this one, but now I am leaning towards something more like a royal enfield kinda deal. building a sprung solo seat with the little pad on the rear fender behind it. I did a little mock up. ill do lower drag bars. going for a sort of classy vintage bike look. pedestrian slicer. i dunno i might change my mind again. i think this looks kinda cool though.

That does look pretty damn cool...especially if it has a real subtle 'classic' paint scheme.

But....race bike...!! ;) hahaha

Whats so funny about a cb350 being a race bike? Theres tons of them out there. Its a very popular platform in vintage racing.........

Its not funny....I know 350 are very popular as a vintage base, i'm planning on running one in the CRMC early next year.

It was more of a wink suggesting how could you not turn it into one. Definitely should go down that route!

Ahh ok...it can be quite difficult to determine emotion/sarcasm from text. My apologies!

In the meantime...CONTINUE BUILDING!
