Coast to Coast
I am looking for a small sealed battery i can lay on its side so i can get one bought and build a box for. Any information on sizes and a source to buy would be greatly appreciated.

A buddy of mine has a 4 cell in his 650 Ninja. Never had any issues with it, starts everytime. In fact, the compact size allowed him to mount it outside of the stock location, freeing up the stock battery box for storage space.

I bought this for something:

Can't remember if it's the smaller or larger one... anyway, the support is great, price well worth it. AGM style, so any orientation, great cranking power. Solid Product. Good price. and if you don't leave them out in the garage over the winter (in the upper mid-west) then they'll last a few years.

I kept both of mine on/off a tender every few days/weeks in my basement (avg 65*) on a wooden shelf and no problems holding a charge this year and suplying plenty of power.

*edit* To clarify, the website support is great, those guys helped me find the right batt for my application. It's worth e-mailing them with your specifics.

Redbird and Gyi2io, both of those batteries are pretty cool. I'm taking the electric start off this bike, so the battery doesn't have to do much. Has anyone ever used one of those Power Star brand batteries. I want something physically small and sealed, but have enough juice not to run down while riding it.

Sorry, haven't messed with that yet. Planning on fully removing the electric start on my CL360 but haven't gotten close to that yet, so i have nothing to offer as far as bat size etc. All i can offer is that the Scorpion AGM batt's are sweet for 'normal' use. let us know how it turns out.

Do you have a build log going? Link plz.
