Looking for a rearhoop option for my brokeback frame on the CM. Not sure how I'd make the weld job clean with all that stamped steel on this frame.

The only good way to do it on the CM is to cut that whole rear subframe off and fab up a new one unfortunately.

Looking at it, you could possibly cut straight along the top of the shock mount and then run a tube on top of it like this:

I currently am not, Once I get my lathe up and running I probably will.
With .120 wall tubing a 3/4" piece of tube works well as a slug though

How's the fitment on a CB750? I think it's 9" wide so just wondering if it would look odd pulled apart.

Not the best fit on a 750, like you said you need a 9" hoop.

Measure the width and diameter of the rear frame rails. If its close to 8" wide and 1" tube diameter you're golden

Converting to air over hydraulic should make it easier (but slower :mad: )
