DTT BOTM WINNER
I haven't advertised it on CL yet but its going soon at a higher price. For DTT members $1000.00. Clean title in Rachels name.

1980 CM200 Twinstar. Ready to ride.

She learned to ride on this bike. Rode it one summer around a parking lot.

Its a sweet, super clean little machine. We changed engine oil and fork oil, new battery and front brake shoes.

Its a twin w single carb. (Hondas best idea ever) Tires are decent and everything works as it should.

Ive never run it up WOT but I imagine it will do 60-65mph???

Currently in storage in my 92yo neighbors garage. It lives inside heated and A/C garage.

These pics are a couple years old now but it still looks exactly like this today. I can post updated pics if any interest.

I live in east central Illinois 3hrs south of Chicago, 3hrs NE of St Louis, 1.5hrs west of Indy. We can discuss delivery if needed.

Thanks. I know, but it needs ridden more.

So what ever happened with this?
I gave it to my “Tire changing” buddy. I owed him for like 10 sets of installs. He loves it, always talked about wanting to buy it...dude was down on his luck and never had a spare dime. He wouldn’t take anything for doing tires...so I made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.
Free.

You bought a lot of happiness for your money. You'll find you won't make a more satisfying deal than one that improves another persons life.

Great story, nice bike and awesome that you donated it to someone who will no doubt appreciate and enjoy it !
