SHOW YUR' GUNS AND KNIVES.....

Haha yup. My list of guns I want to buy is so long I have no idea where the end is. And it keeps getting longer everytime I go to a show or dealer.

No problems! I spent 14 years in the Army as an Infantryman, training soldiers and shooting. Not being nasty, and not taking it as nasty. Just have the advantage of being old enough and experienced enough to know when we may want to show a little more restraint in our display of weapons and equipment so as not to inadvertantly draw unnecessary negative attention to ourselves. Personally, I love weapons!

I had to look up the definition of tool cause I thought I may just be wrong. A tool is an implement designed for a specific purpose. So, a weapon really is a tool. A gnarly tool of death! :-D

I love them too. I'm still relatively new to them. Just like with cars and motorcycles guns are machines I love to take apart and see how they work. Modify they. I guess I'm an aspiring collector. They are a little easier to store than collecting cars haha. Mechanical things and me just get along. There are so many different types to collect.

Question- anyone here reload? I would love to start so I could go shoot more often. Looking for a good way to get into it.

never understand why people think guns=killing

I recently got into guns
so far i have killed nothing....never even tried to kill anything....

i shoot targets and trap.
for me its about developing a skill. I think of it the same way as learning how an engine works or how to go around a turn fast.

How bout' my "Super" Blackhawk.........

Ahhh... I almost forgot that one pistol I would really like to own is a Ruger Blackhawk, just because I like the classic six shooter look. I actually have a friend who participates in cowboy shoots. I never knew such a thing existed til she posted pics of herself in fb.

Here is a pick of me and my daughter.
303 British Infield and a Spring Field Armory 1911 .45 .
This was for an article for Los Angeles Magazine in July about gun owners in LA.

^^ thats cool. I would love to collect more of the old surplus military rifles and stuff. It all has so much history to it and I love that.

I don't really like killing things, but I love machines and I love precisely tuning things.

To me, guns are another fun, noisy and powerful toy that, just like a bike, needs to be treated safely and responsibly, but can be a bucket of fun.

My current project:
Mosin002.jpg

It's a cheap old '46 Mosin-Nagant M44 carbine that I got for a hundred bucks. Made sure to find one with a good muzzle crown and then counterbored it for fifteen bucks to have a razor-sharp muzzle rifling, and then trimmed down the trigger sears. Took it from a "I might hit the target at 100 yards" gun to an "If I can see it, I can hit it" gun.

My other project is an old PSL-54C semiauto Polish sniper rifle, looks sorta like one of those crazy Russian SVD Dragunov rifles, only it's a lot easier to find parts for.

Otherwise, I make custom airsoft rifles, too. I just did this thing over the last couple months:
DSCN1316.jpg

The build cost me about $200 start to finish and I've got three suckers clients lined up to buy them at $380.

I totally forgot about my antique Moro swords from the Philippines. I used to have them hanging on a wall, but they don't really go with anything in the house right now. They are buried in my closet. Anyway, anyone familiar with Escrima might find these swords interesting. Filipino stick fighting is the less lethal replacement for the blade. Here is a cool old vid I came across last month. The old man is 90! His name Tatang is loosely translated as Pops.

Maybe we should change the name of the forum to "Do 55 MPH" instead of the Ton.... so we don't draw any negative attention to us...... doing the Ton could also be considered as immature......

Agree with Rockers CT. There's no better way to grab the ATF/law enforcement's attention than to start posting weapons on a motorcycle forum, hunting or not. Kinda draws unnecessary and negative attention to this forum, and makes some people appear dangerous. I'm not against weapons, I'm a veteran, but public displaying everyones weapons can have a negative reaction, and is kinda immature. Weapons are for killing, not toys for showing off. That said, its an open forum and we're (somewhat) free Americans. Some of you have pretty rifles and pistols, hope you don't post your location on the forum map!
