I’m pretty sure the attached pix is of a solenoid from a Honda. Can’t remember if it’s from a ‘72 350 or a ‘75 360 but either way, if it’s still working, it should do the trick.
Info on hooking it up would be appreciated. Tell me if I’m correct.
1. Large wire, black w/ red band to the battery.
2. Other large terminal to the starter motor.
3. Small black wire to -12vdc.
4. Small Y/R wire to one side of a normally open push button switch.
5. Other side of push button switch to key switched +12vdc. (Through fuse? If so what size?)
6. Assuming I don’t need the two red wires connected w/ the heavy black.
The two red wires with the white plug connector is to your regulator (reg/rec). One red goes to a fuse and to your ignition switch, the other (red/white) to the regulator.

Thanx Eric, much appreciated! It's a "well sort of" on your answer. I should have taken the two smaller red ones off before taking the pix. The bike is all wired and working so nothing from the solenoid needs to go to the regulator, just switched power. I went ahead and bench tested the thing by applying 12v to the small wires, off and on, and that caused continuity across the two large lugs so that tells me the thing works and that my description above is correct. If I use 10 or 12 ga wire out to the starter I should be ok, right?
Slight correction to above: When it comes to the two switching wires on the solenoid, the +12v will go directly to a switched source and the black wire goes to a push button starter switch and then on to the -12v ground.
