Hi,

This 1997 SR250 I have after few years of sitting in shed has baked in front brake piston and stripped bleed screw. I'm looking at affordable replacement but all I can find is NOS parts for couple of hundred dollars. Is there aftermarket part that will fit on that fork holes/disc?

Yeah, it gives odd chinese calipers with no dimension on mounting holes. It even requires some bracket to mount it.

They make a bleed screw rescue kit with a brass 1/8" NPT plug and smaller bleed screws. Drill out the old and retap with a pipe tap. Auto parts stores carry them.

These aren't the ones that I've used, but similar. Look at the bottom of the page for the kit and a German distributor.

ok, I managed to get that piston out, tapped bigger hole for M8 bleeder. Now everythnig is nice and clean, but. Inside of cylinder there is some kind of eccentric groove that sticks out of the wall aprox half a milimeter. It goes half around the wall (hence eccentric). It looks factory but I can't tell since I havent seen this before neither or car or bike. Cant take proper photo that will picture it. I cam draw it if it would help...
