Its on a jig. All tubes are center line marked. I use a laser level to make sure everythings straight

yeah i used there stuff before. so if they use 34s for a 750 32's or 30s will be plenty

yes sir i would agree... if oyu look for ZR440 artic cat carbs theya re VM 32 and sometimes 30's it is a race sled so they come stacked... i had no idea till i built one this winter for myself.. you can find the carbs pretty cheap... also pulls up under snopro 440 race sled... help ya find em a bit cheaper
Ill check with tim to see if we may have any extras in the shop... he has like 5 of these sleds so i bought one off him and build one for myself this winter... ill check tomorrow when i get in the shop

if you make your own manifold man do me a solid and save the demensions you come up wiht... i have a CB500 that is going to get a 4 to 2 conversion on the carbs

yeah find out. id be all over em. and will do. prolly be copper. oh, you ever get the dimensions for that 120/21?

ahh completely forgot!!! ill shoot yo a PM with my cell number shoot me a text tonight ill be back in the shop around 8 working on wiring. my bike is in the back so i can drop what i am doing and take that measurement for you... hell i have the 140 front therre as well if you want me to measure both!

sounds good. was just thinkin, i have a 40mm weber downdraft and a side draft.......... hmmmmmm gotta love vw stuff lol

You know I'm loving this. Nice job on the tubing. Did you modify the dyes on your hf bender? Looks like you got -0- flattening. have you tried your carbs in there yet? Keep in mind where the low point on the tank will be. I tossed around the idea of making the front the low point on mine. Decided against it but it would make for some nice long (copper ) fuel lines ;D

liking where this is going, Signing in to get the updates. keep up the great work. I just saw a 550 4 on Craigs, running titled and only 2 hours away. I think I need to go buy it.

Mari- thanks man. Pick it up. Ive been snatchin all the reasonable bikes around here ive been findin on cl.
Troy-thanks brother. Told ya it was a lot like yours. The kinker, what i did was, took a piece of 1.5" conduit and cut 5" pieces. Stuck them on the rollers and dies the "cushion" the tube. The piece on there is 1 3/8" i had layin around to see how bad it would be. Also the rollers were in 2nd to last holes. The bottom does have all the litttle divots. Ima step up to a 1.75 backbone. As for the bungs, i wanna do rear. But if i use the sidedraft weber, ill use front. The colors are already picked out. Rootbeer and brass/copper. As to the copper. Ive been playin with sweating pipe. Will that withstand the heat/vibes from the motor?
