Suzuki GS500E 1993 a good bike?

A street fighter is just a sport bike that the owner can't afford new plastics after fucking it up. ;)

You've got "chopper" in your name - you wouldn't understand ::)

;D

I think the best way to approach any build is to let the donor bike do the talking, would a cruiser make a better cafe racer or chop? obvious, if you have a particular style in mind find a bike that lends itself to it, it saves money and time in the long run, unless you'r a masochist, that said I find it interesting when a bike is built against all the expected norms.

I ended up getting a 77 xs 750 triple for a whole $0.00 with clean title. I will be building a brat/bobber haha I will get pics up soon.

And now you know. Dont bother buying it... Its not good enough to be a super cool fighter. I mean, it probobly wouldnt be able to handle the badassery (ya, its a word) of that hockey goalie mask headlight. Definitly would look silly under the dollar store flat black paint too. Than when you throw the balance all off by cutting the subframe in half and shoehorning all the electronics so close to the exhaust that they all melt, whew... Dont even try that with a GS. It cant possibly handle it. ;) ;)

Haha.

My first bike was a 1991 GS500E, painted a sort of semi-flat black. It had flipped clubman bars, white rims, and a full Yoshimura race exhaust. That bike was a terror. I miss it.
