Coast to Coast
Got this about a month ago like this from a dealer as a mechanics special.
Had to replace the ignition switch, then the battery.
Low and behold it fired right up!
Then I noticed after the test run that the chain and sprockets where probably three times past the life expectancy so I ordered that right away.
After that you know what came next: New plugs, oil changes, oil filter, tires, valve stems, rebuilt all three calipers (each had a stuck piston), new ss brakelines, master cylinder, air filter, used rotor, handlebar and grips.

Not completely done but I've been riding it to work that past few days now again.

This is the first vintage bike besides the 86 gpz900r that Ive had that didnt feel like I was thrashing to hard.

Cheers!

The shape of the early DOHC tanks has really grown on me lately...be cool to see what you do with it. (Even if that's just riding it to death!)
