"Tangerine Dream" / Glemseck - KZ750

Still can't make up my mind about the 1/2 fairing, I may have to go down that route to find suitable places to "lose" electrics, switches, warning lights, NOS controls etc.,etc.

The alloy fuel cell is under the main frame, but I think I'm going to ditch the GRP under fairing.

The NOS will be a stealth system - bottle and solenoids under the Manx "tank".

Still have to get a friendly electrics boffin to work out a retard system to go with the new CDI unit.

This is nuts!
My brain is struggling to accomodate NOS and drum brakes on the same bike. Are you keeping this on drums?
Those "drums" are four leading shoe Grimeca racing items as used on MV Agusta, Gilera etc. [ or versions of ], not the same stopping power as modern discs ....... but hey ho.

Couldn't resist ! Well this and the Boardtracker will undoubtedly be my last builds .......my legacy to almost 70 years of designing and building my way.

This one's a little more discreet than the Boardtracker plaque 65mm x 30mm

Tres Cuatros .............back in the day, Gilera, MV Agusta etc used the 4LS front brakes which were more than capable of helping the bikes to achieve 100mph + laps of the Isle of Man.

I don't think my current riding style will push the limit of the drums ...........

Teazer, you'll be pleased to know we have decided to use the fairing. There's just too many odds and sods to package on the bike - especially as I want to hide the NOS set up and controls / electrics.

I misplaced the twin cable junction for the Grimeca 4LS brakes and can't get an original anywhere.

However I found just the twin pull block which attaches to any stock lever ........................ £81 !!!!!!

I was resigned to getting one made by my machine shop pal, then decided to have a look on good old Chinabay. I'd seen a twin pull lever on a quad some time ago, and sure enough readily available for £10. FOR THE WHOLE LEVER. The quality is superb !

I only need the twin pull part as the lever won't match my Tomaselli s fitted to the bike.

No big deal, just need to remove the parts I need and fit them up - might take a few minutes.

My new NOS purge system also arrived - cortesy of Chinabay. £85 as opposed to the best UK price of £185
