The DT250 I should not have bought.

Whew! Those seat pans don't last very well over time (and neglect). How sturdy is the steel on that?

Ill 2nd the dig it for sure ! Like the tracker tail on it very nice look ....

So, the little white tank is going to get a primo paint job by the one and only Henry (MileHigh).

In order for him to do his work, I had to do a little work. It was shipped out today looking like this:

Brad gave me a rear fender for the scoot. It had a significant amount of surface rust, but that cleans up easily enough. Here is the in process shot. About 2 minutes worth of work into it:

yep. moving right along...

Nice, Flapper wheel on a grinder? I used a 60 grit to de-rust and ruff up the chrome to paint the GL exhaust. Seemed to work well and was only maybe 45min to an hour to do each pipe, and they are 5' long. This will be fun when done for sure.

3M Blue scotch-bright thing on my angle grinder.

Tal-Strip Aircraft stripper on the tank first, followed by the grinder.

Ahh I tried to find one of the 3m blue thingies but no one here has any. Small town sucks for that sometimes. I will have to check the US next time I am over there. There is a big Napa and a Tractor supply that might carry them.
