More loose screws!

This time it's the flathead one at the pivot point of the clutch lever. It loosens every time I pull in the clutch. Can't ride for more than 30 mins without it needing a tightening. Am I missing a lock nut underneath?

sorry i didn't get back to you about the foam air cleaner.cant find it on line...will see if i still have the bag for it..might have the brand wrong...will check today.

After dropping the bike due to my own inattention to some wet tram tracks, I need to re-align my front forks. Has anyone done this?

I'm not sure how much to torque to apply on the various bolts on the front end of the bike, and whether I should go about replacing them all...

Just fitted modified 125 head. Standard valves ported,150 springs and added extra preload on springs. Unshrouded valves. 20 thou shaved off face. ... Wonder if it will go better than 150 head

Have had a small accident. On toy run have had another bike run up the back of me. Apart from a few scrapes and bruises I am ok. Bike is a bit of mess but should be repairable. . Will be off the road for a while but should still be a starter for speed week here in Australia

Hope all goes well, it's bad enough accidents that are your fault let alone someone else's.

Cam design was a resounding success. 60 thou was taken off base curve . Bike was a donor from another rider. Yet to put over dyno for proper results. Safe to say my friend is more than happy with the result. My bike is running a Brazilian ground cam with less lift than my experimental but more duration. Cam was imported but another rider on dtt. Been happy with it too . Gives a boost in power around 7000 and pushed the redline up to 10500

Looking forward to hearing your dyno results!

Sorry to hear about your accident horrible - Wish you a speedy recovery!

On a separate issue, watch your side-stand bolt as mine came loose and was barely hanging on by a thread. Crappy weather in the UK has curtailed any ACE antics for the last couple of weeks, so I'm in my workshop refurbishing the carbs on my YAM TRX instead. Now I know why you need spaghetti fingers to re-fit the throttle linkage!

Talking of bad weather, I work for a Indian manufacturer, based in Chennai, where they have suffered the worse flooding for over 100 years. My colleague sent me a photo of his apartment's bike park, where his bike got slightly wet. He has since had it serviced and it's going ok now!
