A buddy of mine runs it with his girlfriend. Looks like a TON of fun. I might hafta go out with him during practice next year...

Re: Nothing to see here yet. Move along please.

Thanks for that picture .... I like the 'nose only' fairing .......... a nice compromise for a fairing ........ and very do-able :)

Re: Nothing to see here yet. Move along please.

Well this looks pretty interesting!
I'm a little concerned about this though ...

Yurts are cool. Is it going to be moved out from under the big metal roof later?

Yup, that was just the first test assembly. I threw an old cargo parachute over it just to get a sense of the inside space.
I've just finished the door and next is to order the canvas for the cover.

Re: Nothing to see here yet. Move along please.

so gents, a bit of an update............
I sold the BM as I landed work and didn't need the project to keep me sane over the winter, and there was no way I have time to take that on at present. I nearly doubled my money so it was a better investment than stocks or savings!
My humble Cg continues to run like a beast and starts up like a wrong'un every time.
It has a big appetite for kick starts and I'm now on my forth one.
I've had it 'off' the road for 6 months but am getting ready to get i re-mot'd.
The outfit has settled down with too much lean out, I've chosen the easiest solution and thats to fit a shorter shock on to the chair.
Drives just fine :)

Is the yellow stuff a drogue chute for quick speed reduction? ;)

The yellow bag is covering the number plate ..... Easier than editing the photo lol ;)

However, once on three wheels never going back to two.
I kept the chair chassis from the BM project cos there is still a road outfit in me itching to get out!

Re: Nothing to see here yet. Move along please.

HEY Y'all

Bit of an absence from here but have been checking in from time to time, if only to see if there ever was a CB350 built by a teen ;)

I've been running a truck and a car for the past year or so, but I cant justify bankrolling both, so in prep for off loading the car its time to recommission the outfit.
Its been laid up for 6 months due to its appetite for kick start levers ... I have just ordered the 5th!! hopefully the straight shaft/pivot top design might fare better than the bottom pivot type.

Anyhow, I have dragged it out, thrown a bucket of water over it and am waiting for some sucker to come and give me a push.

New kick start arrived to day, it has quite a bit of offset so I had to angle it forward to allow comfortable use of foot peg and rear brake. I'll give it a good run around the hills over the week end to find out any probs that will need looking at for the MOT

I rebuilt the forks this weekend with new seals and slightly heavier oil .. 15w in place of 10w.
I also added a back loop to the fork brace, all I could find was a length of re-bar to bend up and weld on, but it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
I'm very pleased with the net result of the work. Love this little outfit, it just keeps on making me smile.
