You mechanical at all? If so then you can hop to the basic stroker preparation:
Take off head, inspect bore for condition/wear,
Decoke head and piston crown with degreaser and a toothbrush.
Inspect carburettors, clean out and replace. Ensure stock jets are present.
Burn out exhausts. Alternatively, see if you can just replace the baffles. Alternatively, pour a cup or two of degreaser down each one (off the bike) ahd give a good swirling at all angles. Afterwards, hose out with water to prevent combustion when starting the bike. You will want to have the bike running for that last one to blow out the water, or rust will result.
Check spark, replace plugs/leads/coils if necessary. Check battery.
Thats about it, you should be able to take it for a ride and run some further diagnostics after all that...assuming its not running or running poorly to start with.
