tz inspired cl350

Still not managed to get my tank and seat painted .i have mostly been focusing on the wiring and getting all the brakes and cables sorted and fitted some new coils and a cheap tytronic electronic ignition had to cut back on spending a bit due to job uncertainty from the coronavirus but at least it’s given me some time on my hands to get work done around the house which should now give me some decent time to get the bike sorted

Excuse the mess in my garage but has anybody gone 2-1 on the cl pipes ? I was going to go with the hi for 2-1 but I picked up a set of cl 2-1 pipes without the back boxes for a great price I’m thinking of a 2-1 ss y peice and a cone engineering 12” muffler what you guys think? I also just received a pair of vm30 Mikunis if speedy Moto co it’s getting close to the first start up now

I've got CL pipes on my 360/378. At the moment they're going into a pair of Emgo Shorties w/ modified baffles, but If I could find the correct collector I'd consider changing the thing to a 2-1 system. Admittedly I haven't looked very hard, but I'll bet there are lots of options on eBay. Might be easier to find a >- rather than a =- though.

came across this on ebay. its quite a reasonable price so im going to order it maybe if i alter the exhaust bracket a little maybe and weld a cone engineering silencer to it i could make it work

Got round to mocking up the exhaust today with the cl pipes and a 2-1 and I really like the look. I will weld the silencer to the 2-1 then use clamps to mound it to the cl pipes I think I’m going to do the cl pipes in vht grey flameproof as they’re not as nice up close as in the photos

Springs look Waaaay better than clamps and are not hard to do. One way is to get a length of suitable wire and bend it into a loop to weld on, or pull a chain side plate and weld that on. It's not as elegant, but cheap....

Looks great. Check out my CL360 build. I put a 2 into 1 on as well.
