Just found this forum and what do ya know theres an upstate NY thread. I just moved to Albany last fall. Have done 2 events with the CT Rockers, Bennington Triumph Bash and Rockkers V Modders. Mad cool guys, def think we need something like this in our area. As of right now my only road worthy bike is a 2000 Speed Triple. Sourcing a bike for a tracker project as we speak. Might go look at an RD400 on sunday. I have a cafe at my parents place in Alexandria Bay(reallly upstate). I am Always in for Riding/Wrenching/Drinking. Let me know.

Nice Trumpet! I like that green a lot and that single side swinger always a lovely sight. RD400 eh? Nice get. If i was going to get a 2 stroke that would be on my list for sure. What kinda pipe are you runnin on your Triumph? I have seen that style before but I cant seem to remember the name. Where abouts are you in Albany?

I regret to say the RD deal fell through... Still keepin my eye out. I have a 77 GS400 cafe at home that I might tracker out this weekend hahah. The exhaust is a Trident high mount shorty. I hadnt seen one either, the previous owner got this one, I did some research on the triumphrat forums and apparently they were only sold to members of that site. So there are fairly few out there. I live right on Madison Ave in albany. Prob moving up to Toga by the end of the summer though. I saw a thing on Clist for a cafe blog and read some of those guys meet on thursday nights at the bbq place near toga. and they are hittin the brewery on wednesdayI think so i might try to go to that. at my place I dont have a garage and I really miss wrenching on bikes...
