Vintage looking Corcoran military boots

Been Around the Block
So I accidentally found these AMAZING boots today, but I had literally spent every penny I had on me, about 5 minutes before. These were at an antique mall, in a booth full of Nazi helmets (those are what caught my attention. I'd never seen any Nazi paraphernalia in real life, and I was just way intrigued. Side note, both of my grandparents on my dad's side were from Poland, and kept in concentration camps during WW2. So it was weird to see that stuff in person). The shop owner let me handle the helmet, which was $5,000! And then I noticed a pair of boots about my size. They were beautiful. Guy said they were made around 1950 (I later found this to be an exaggeration, that they are a newer reissue), and that I could have them for $100. I didn't get them.

So after I got home, I looked up the boots and found American made reissues for $179 new. I like em a lot.

Re: 1950 Corcoran boots (and reissues)

I bought a pair of brand new Corcoran historic jump boots, and they're more amazing than I'd described in the original post. If anyone is seeking high quality boots with a vintage look, check these out. The soles are very comfortable, more so than my Red Wings. The fit is pretty true to size. I'm still breaking them in, so my ankles hurt from the stiff leather beating me up. But they feel heavy and durable. I get a lot of compliments on these. I paid $150 with no tax and free shipping from supercasuals.com or supercasual.com (something like that). Shipping took 10 whole days (labor day interrupted. It was 7 business days).
