Wanted GS450 motor or parts bike.

Looking for a good running motor to fit an '80 GS450. would take whole parts bike as well. Or even just a good lower end of a motor. I have a good running motor but the Drive shaft is stripped and the PO tack welded the sprocket on the spindle.

Where are you located? I've got a GS500 motor. Bottom ends are the same. Leave it as is and it should bolt right in to the frame.

I'm in Portland, Maine. I'd be willing to travel a bit to pik it up. Do you know the mileage? and what would you want for it?

Well, I'm not exactly sure how far Portland is, but it takes me 8 hours to get to Mt Deasert island, if that helps. I'm looking to get $200 for it.

Let me look into what it will cost to ship it. THats if you are even willing to deal with that? I have a lead on another motor in Illinois that I may be able to have shipped to me. Its apparently a good running 450 motor with only 8k miles on it. If that doesn't work out I'll let you know.
