Just saying hi From Mansfield , Ohio , New to this forum ;D

New here too. Hey shoe I've seen you and your photoshops over at caferacer.net ;D Someone over there directed me to this place. Glad I found it. It seems to have a little more traffic.

I'd love to ride with other cafe/vintage enthusiast! I'm just getting started and could pick some brains!
Let me know!

Welcome aboard CK. The riding season is nearly upon us. I'm going to plan a meet and greet sometime in the early spring (hopefully in the next coming weeks). So get your bikes ready...

Hopefully I'll have my title by then It has been a real cluster F. If I can't make it I look forward to future
rides!

My CB350 blew up so unless something amazing happens, like someone gives me $1500 to buy another one, I'm grounded. Pisser.

Let me guess, camchain self-destructed? Why not find another motor at a wrecker?

No idea. Greg from Ohio Cafe Racer's checked it for me and everything seemed to be fine. Then about two weeks later it started making a ticking sounds an blew up by the end of that ride. The bike hadn't run for years so I'm guessing that contributed to it. Greg did his diligence with it, my guess is something broke during that ride.

I say the rubber camchain tensioner wheel disintegrated causing the camchain to come loose. That's the weakest part of the motor.

You aren't the only person who gave that as the probable cause. If I get lucky I win money somewhere I'm getting another one.

anyone know where to get some quality replacements?

Well I finally got my title and plates for the bike! It's only been one year of hassle for my
sister-in-law to get the paperwork I needed to put the bike in my name. I'd like to give th New York
BMV a big F-YOU for all there fine laws and work!!!! By the way I posted some pics in show-and-shine
on my bike build progress. It's going to take a long time (too many obligations) to put together
but it should be sweet when its done.
