Well crap, more stuff I can't really afford to lust after.

With a shirt like this, who needs pants?

Damn, I'm with ya Fix...Poor sucks! Those are awsome.

Saw a pair of ALDO boots similar a few weeks ago. Ritzy high priced mall in the area. No price tag so I asked a price. It's true if you have to ask the price you can't afford it. I set them back down and slowly walked away when I was told the price for the pair of boots was $575.00

Those look like a lot more work than I am willing to put into getting dressed

$12 Converse knock-offs from KMart do me. Chew through them a few pairs a year because I'm always on my feet at work and generally wear them for pretty much everything.

Only thing that irritates me is that they rarely have size 11's which I take.

Fix, check out Cocoran tanker boots. They are tough as hell, and contain no hipster ingredients!

Theycome in black

And roughout suede (which ages nicely when oiled

I had a pair for years, loved them too..

Any Corcoran boots are AWESOME. I used to rock their Airborn Jump boots. Comfortable, sturdy as can be and affordable.

+1 on the cochrans had a pair when staitioned in Germany. Really nice wish I still had em. STAY away from boutique stuff you may inadertantly en up w/ a "manbag". ::)

I've had Corocans, and the tankers straps tend to be a little short for me. What I liked about the "Boutique" boots is that the build quality looks very high. Quadruple stitching. Still, that's a lot of cash.

My current boots will last me for a while, but it's fun to wish.

I second the Chippewa boots, I have a pair that is a spitting image of Waffen-SS Officer boots that I ride in. Steel sole insert, slim steel toe box, heavy duty soles... hard to find decent riding boots in 13 or 14EEE, almost as tricky as finding 4-5x gloves.

EEE anything is hard to find. Every shoe manufacturer is skipping me. I can't even find my old cowboy boots in 10EEE anymore.

I think Tony Lama is still doing EEE upon request - they haven't gotten any cheaper, but my good boots are ten years old and still on the first sole.

I'm not really a fan of that style boot, but emailed them inquiring about a hybrid. I've actually been looking for a nice set of work boots since my sneakers catch aluminum and steel splinters every night I'm at the shop.
