What did you do today instead of working on your bike project?

The new stock needs a couple more coats of hand rubbed oil finish.

If he has another chunk, I'm in dire need of a new stock for that same model of shotgun. Mine is my great grandfather's 12g Springfield. And I need a really big piece to make a new stock and ramrod for our 12g double barrel caplock that belonged to Jefferson Davis' personal military courier (wife's great great grandfather), English gun. Original stock is beyond kindling stage... split, cracked and chunks missing. Gun is still in working order, plan to convert it to flintlock and put it back in service.

Sunday I upgraded the handling characteristics of the Stepside a bit...

Should be a considerable improvement over the OEM rubber. Especially considering the DS end bushing was wiped out.

Swapped-out my winter and summer clothes in my closet and drawers, and organized my closet. :
I found a few things that I have been looking for......for months.

Helped my wife do some stuff in the yard with dirt and flowers.

I fixed my crashed civic, close to back on the road again some bondo and paint and it will be ok. Thankfully the weather has been awesome and have not needed a cage for any reason what so ever so getting lots of miles on the bike.

I'm watching Le Tour right now when I should be working on the sidecar. For some reason known only to God I love the Tour. I'm also sitting here looking at the package that arrived yesterday (while I was watching the Tour). It contains what I need to make up a new clutch cable. Will have to get the head down after this.

Put a new battery and starter on the riding lawnmower. :
Of course the starter worked fine the last time we used it, the battery has been sketchy for months. I cleaned all the ground surfaces while I was at it.

Hopefully this will cure the problems we have been having, getting the thing to start.

Worked on my trucks.

The 2003 Savage got a cam chain tensioner swap for the upgraded version that won't fall apart and grenade the engine. And the gray goop (Yamabond) failed within 15 seconds of start up, bike puked out its oil. Redid, with a paper gasket, rode 2.25 miles, and oil started pumping out of a case bolt (that was properly torqued and had thread sealant)... so the bike is sitting under a tree in the front yard while I wait for an OEM replacement gasket, and hope like hell that the head didn't burn up.

Saturday morning I took the CB750 out for a ride, and helped escort a Vietnam Veteran to his final resting place.

Nice Redbird. I have done nothing but fix cages for the last week and just when I thought I might get time to work on the GL, more broken parts on the cages!
