what pants do you ride with?

Post a pic/review of the pants you wear while you ride here. Please keep it to armored pants-department jeans aren't worth shit over 30mph, I don't care how cool you look doing so. Form follows function. Skinny jeans belong nowhere near a man's crotch let alone his motorcycle (unless worn by an attractive female, of course ;) )

I got a pair of Deth Killers, kevlar woven jeans. Good: raw denim, heavy construction, high quality. Bought them used-they're expensive new. Bad: a little on the skinny side-when I wear my Icon field shorts armor underneath, I waddle around like I shat myself  you should see me kickstart like that! Looking for a new pair that's more comfortable & hope to find a lead in this thread. Is there such a thing as badass textile pants?

That was a quick bump.

In any case, I've heard good things about these http://www.maplejeans.com though I can't give my endorsement as I've had but only hearsay experience with them.

Try not to get too amped up by his riveting tale.

I've seen their promo through Iron & Air, but at $400 I can't even bother looking at them.

Here's another brand to look at (seen on Hell for Leather):

These don't look bad, especially for $195. That's pretty cheap compared to others out there.

Draggin Jeans in Camo or denim. They are sized a little small, so go up a size.

I wear E-Squad Jeans.

Very good jeans, bit thicker and tougher than regular, but rides comfortable, and very well protected.

Those Deth Killers look pretty good, may have to start saving up for a pair myself. Been wearing good old Levis so far but I'd like some more protection down there, if you know what I mean

I socred a set of textile armoured overpants. they have a liner so you can wear them in just underwear but I use them to commute to work as over my dress pants protection. They can get hot in dead of summer but I was riding just in my dress pants and that really is not a good idea. Last thing now is to get some good riding boots and I will have a full kit.

Looks like Deth Killers dropped their price on their Asphalt-reistant jeans:

only $185! They come with extra long length (meant to be hemmed to length), and they're raw denim, which means they'll last you a long time and require almost no cleaning. If only they weren't so slim-I wear a 33 waist comfortably, and a size 34with a belt is just right with these pants.

I haven't ridden in mine yet, but the fit and comfort of the Draggin (Drayko drift) jeans are just spot on!

M2R Kevlar Denim's.

Good fit, good looks, reasonable price and... good fit!

Since I'm a short, fat guy, none of the armored jeans fit me quite right. So I wear Wranglers with Icon armor. It makes it easy to take off when I get to work.

Why is the knee cup above the knee? That's just a style gone wrong at a crazy price. I guess I'm doomed to never be a hipster.....

I think that's just showing how the knee cups are installed.
At least I HOPE that's what it's showing...
