what pants do you ride with?

Why is the knee cup above the knee? That's just a style gone wrong at a crazy price. I guess I'm doomed to never be a hipster.....

... Guessing it's just for demonstration purposes,

I wear some cheap Bilt textile over pants, I'd like to upgrade to something better though sooner or later. You couldn't pay me to ride with jeans. I did at first and then once or twice after going agatt but riding in jeans is like riding in your underwear... No thanks.

Maybe if I was only putting around town going 25-35 maybe but its fast and crazy around here.

Neither am I, to old and porky.
Its just showing how the knee pad fits in the pocket

I ride with my own pants on ;D. Sorry just had to I am sure a few of you thought that too...

I usually ride in my jeans if the weather is up to it (yeah I know it isn't a very good idea), otherwise I have a set of leather leggings which have a nice tendency to pool and leak in the croch.. Either gotta stuff or get some new ones soon.

Would love a pair of Maple kevlar reinforced jeans though.

Maple jeans. Breaking them in is tough but they are seriously quality jeans. Dave is a solid guy too

does anyone know if the deth killers are fully lined kevlar or partially lined?

fully lined. Denim with kevlar weave throughout. Raw denim is a plus, but it takes forever to break in (typical for raw denim).

Urban Rider has some listed on their site: http://www.urbanrider.co.uk/motorcycle-clothing/shop-by-product-type/motorcycle-trousers.html

I'm really impressed with the Belstaff jeans equipped with D30 armor: http://www.urbanrider.co.uk/brands/belstaff-pure-motorcycle-collection/belstaff-motorcycle-jeans-indigo-blue.html

I'm also seriously considering a pair of AGV textile pants just because they'd be all-weather pants:

just wish textile pants could look cooler...

Gotta put on the Big Boy Pants on else you ride like a girl.......

These are the Draggin jeans I have
http://www.urbanrider.co.uk/brands/draggin-jeans/draggin-camo-kevlar-jeans-green.html
They are cut slightly small and as a sales guy of mine says. They are like a cheap hotel........No ballroom.

Or I wear my race leathers or leather jeans

I picked these up a few years back... Great quality and great price.

I preordered a pair of Dainese D1 Jeans. I have heard pretty god things about them. They are much better priced than the maples for about the same protection. I will post back once I get them in.

I got 2 pairs of the diamond gusset defender jeans. They were having a special so it was under 200 shipped for 2 pairs. They are comfortable with plenty of ball room thanks to the large gusset in the crotch. They are only partially lined though, so kevlar in the ass and knees and they also have velcro straps at the ankle to tighten them down so they do not ride up in the wind.

+1 on Kushitani x Edwin Jeans w/ Zylon (1.6x stronger than Kevlar).

They are a selvage-style jean with a more straight-cut fit. Rugged build and all hand-tailored (in Japan) to fit your specific waist/inseam measurements. Paid £160 ($245) to have these shipped to Los Angeles via UK (Kushitani UK is a factory-affiliated retail that far exceeded the service rep here in the US, who for whatever reason couldn't obtain these jeans), and after processing and tailoring took a little over two weeks but there was excellent communication through the entire process from payment to shipment.

Highly recommend Kushitani (Japan and UK. C'mon US rep! Get with it!). This collaboration with respected Japanese denim co, Edwin is some of the best craftsmanship and for a price that's competitive with other jeans mentioned here as well as other designer wear.
