I'd sure like to offer this service to my motorcycle repair customers as many of them have fork tubes that are rusty around the seal travel area and new oem tubes are NLA and Frank's Engineering is kind of 'touch n' go' and lot's of $

I'm in the UK and had them rechromed by Allbike Engineering in London. They came back perfect and they were really quite pitted. The alternative was to make a pattern and a new set since I couldn't find any the same size, twice the price though. This was 90 GBP each.

They did a very good looking job to me.That new surface, is it chrome or otherwise plated?

Just chrome, or at least that's what we agreed.

I'm going to research jpmobius suggestion about a hydraulic ram repair from a company that does that and see what I can find locally..
