I got the PM too.
My responce was to ask what he saw of mine that could use his stuff.

At this point the market is flooded here and over seas with people selling all the same seats at the same price.

Don't see much of a point to support this new guy.
Late to the party for sure.

I pretty much got out of the seat game when everybody and their mother started building them in their garages and throwing them on eBay. I'll still build them for guys on here and a few other forums I frequent, but that's about it. Three years ago, I was averaging around 75 a week. Now, the market is extremely saturated. I can spend my time making things that make more money than a $75 seat pan.
 
I just sent him a paypal for shipping. I figured id give it a shot and if not, im out $35 and we all learned a lesson.

I see what your saying surffly, but at least this guy looked through some build threads and is offering a deal on a seat for just the price of shipping. It may not be everyone's cup o tea, but I figured Id give it a shot.

Ill report here once I get the seat and let you know what the lowdown is on quality ect.

I also am in contact with him. He said he would have a seat our January I think and I figure same as you $35 isn't to big of a gamble. Plus if he is on the level it is kind of cool to help support the little guy.

I've got one coming as well. The measurements worked out well and one of the colors offered seemed to be very different from the norm and will be just the ticket for my color scheme. I figured I'd dive in and go for it. His product looks good and his communications have seemed professional and sincere.
 
Here's a quick shot pf what arrived in my mailbox last week. Looks pretty good and in my opinion the stitching is very nice.

If you check out raretromoto.com I believe he's offering a very decent discount at the moment.
