Hello
Is there any aftermarket option for full exhaust or only header for Yamaha SR250?
I have messed up the original and I am looking for something that will pass the MOT ;)
I know about Jadus – probably the best option performance wise, but my budget will not handle the price :) aaaand is currently out of stock.
IXIL had something but it is discontinued long time ago.
Any chinese copy on aliexpress or something?
HELP! ;)
Thakn you :)

Try Webike out of japan,. they have lots of aftermarket for smaller displacement bikes and they are a site sponsor too I think so you can find the link here.

Hello
Thank you for the clue - nothing in stock, but I will be monitoring the site.

Another issue: practically all screws in my engine covers have mixed or scratched heads (JIS standard).
I am thinking about buying a set of stainless screws for this particular model.
Found some options:
https://www.mikesxs.net/bolt-set-sr250-exciter-80-82.html
and ebay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/372528441360
I will probably choose ebay, postage from mikesxs will kill me :)

Any thoughts about this subject?
Pros, cons, choose another source or option?
Thank you for your help :)

SS is bad about gauling in aluminum. Make sure you lubricate with anti-sieze and don't over-tighten. I sugget screwdriver-type handles to tighten case screws.

+1 lots of never - seize on the SS and don't over tighten or you can crack the cases and or the covers. Other than that it's a good thing to change out the JIS stripped heads.

Hello
Thank you, will have this on my mind.
I am planning also to change the idle screw for one i can operate without a screwdriver (also ss).

Plus a small project: 3D printed air filter that looks like a velocity stack.
A prototype:

But this is another storry ;)
