1966 Evinrude 3Hp Folding Outboard - Trade for running or near running project

Edmonton Area or North Alberta I have a 1966 Efvinrude 3hp Outboard for trade or partial trade. This is a sweet little outboard, but now that I've got it running I want a new project but want to avoid the divorce this nearly cost me. Pics are on Kijiji and I will email anyone interested in the...

79 XS 650 Special - Good for Cafe?

But I'm lazy... I'm really looking for a runner that I can Cafe Lite for now until time and funds allow a more complete project. I love the bike on the top(header?) banner, the grey one witht the clip ons. I think the XS motor would allow that look, but I'm not looking to do too much frame work...

79 XS 650 Special - Good for Cafe?

Hey Guys and Gals, I just missed a pretty sweet looking CB750 that was already started. So now I've found an XS 650 special and am wondering if this is a good starting point or not. I read somewhere that the special frame wasn't conducive to cafe, any opinions? Thanks.

    Noob: First Cafe - '73 CB750? (Alberta)

If anyone is from Alberta and can point me to a decent runner I'd be forever grateful. I've managed to find a 79 xs650 special, but I read here somwherer that it isn't the...

    Noob: First Cafe - '73 CB750? (Alberta)

Re: Noob: First Cafe - '73 CB750? Thanks for the response Big R. I was wondering about the 750 as a first bike, espcially in a cafe setup, and if it would be appropriate. I'm not a kid anymore, not old either, but love the aesthetics of the cafe's. What do I need to look for in a bike of this...

    Noob: First Cafe - '73 CB750? (Alberta)

I wasn't looking for a 750, actually had my eye on a 72 350, but 1100 and it's started already. This would be my first bike as well. Also have my eye on a 77 XL 250 in minty shape. But the question is, is the 750 too much? Too heavy? It looks to be in good shape and I asked the guy to send me a...
