    Lurking no more!

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself! I've been reading DTT for a while now, inspired by all the hard work and beautiful results. Motorcycle building is truly an art. I've also been riding for about a year. I have a Honda Nighthawk CB250 that has served me well, but I've always had a...

    Bone stock 1976 CB750 SS

Seems like a good price for such a complete and unmolested bike. Not that I'm any authority on CB750's. I'm not looking to buy it, but i thought someone else might be! http://altoona.craigslist.org/mcy/4037900827.html

"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

Re: Re: "Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week! I actually really like these bikes. People always say they are ugly, but I think that engine is a beautiful piece of engineering. Similar, if more modern, to the original goldwing.

    1979 Cb750K "Imperfection" Cafe/Brat Build Thread

Nice work, man! I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one. I'm another young builder, or aspiring builder since my build has yet to start. I'll soon have a cb550k to wrench on. I'm hoping to go for a brat style too. My nighthawk 250 is fun, but not a great build base. Keep up the good work!

1984 Honda XL350R Bare Knuckled Brawler

Re: XL350 Back Streets Brawler! Definitely in for this build! love the sporty stance, yet metal and raw features. Looks great, also, one of the best seats I've seen, Im a big fan of brown leather with bare metal. The little cowl is interesting, I didn't like it at first, but its growing on me...

    74' CB550 Cafe (Version 2.0)

Re: 74' CB550 Build Brat/Cafe (Version 2.0) Looks great! do you do all your painting yourself? I'll admit I'm disappointed that your switching to cafe style, then again I've got to pave my own way! Watching you do it all is just too easy. I'm sure the bike will come out great, keep us post.

    74' CB550 Cafe (Version 2.0)

Re: 74' CB550 Build Brat/Cafe (Version 2.0) Hate to be that guy...but: any updates? ;D I'd love to see your new seat, I'm going to hopefully start working on a brat 550 soon. I liked your original seat, but it didn't quite seem to fit with the loop. Did your second seat pan come out...

    Nighthawk Newb

Hey guys! I'm a newby on my first bike. I bought a fully original Honda Nighthawk CB250, which is a seriously solid bike. One thing I'm having trouble with is a rattle in my exhausts. There seems to be an inner wall and an outer wall inside the header which have become detached from each other...
