Sometimes, Texas is definitely great. Of course, then you get to around July and August where it's 105 degrees and 85% humidity. Not as much fun then. I still ride though. :D Again, Chris, great job on the bike.

Well, riding at the moment isn't going to happen. Before I went up for my trip I knew that I was getting pretty close to the end of time for my chain. Found out tonight when I was testing my new brake line that the chain is done. It made some horrendous noises when I took off, I came back and...

Chris, when are you going up to OKC? I actually just got back from there yesterday. I took my first long distance (well, for me anyway) this week up there to visit a friend. As long as I can get my chain replaced by the 1st of May, I'll be making the trip again to visit family.

I have a set of these mirrors mounted in the stock spot. Nice to look at, but being that I'm a fat blob, they aren't that funtional. At least I always know what my elbows look like. ;-)

Well, the saga of the hard to find bar ends has been resolved. I designed them, contacted someone that can machine metal, and now I have my cool ass bar ends (to me at least). Didn't even cost too much. Woohoo. And now a pic of the bar ends and my sweet grips:
