I'm looking into aqua basting or vapor blasting or whatever you want to call it but I cannot find anyone in the US that I can send my parts out to. Any recommendations?
Bike is a 1970 Harley Davidson dirt bike. If I am correct I can just wire a toggle switch in-between the magneto and the ignition coil to kill it? I'm trying to make a very stripped down fail-proof trail bike, no lost keys, bulky lights, horn...
Cool thanks. I just didn't want that extra wire coming out of my motor and not being hooked up to anything else. So If I wire both coils together and then connect to ignition coil will it provide a more powerful spark?
If my magneto has an ignition coil and a lighting coil and I am choosing to wire the bike without any electrical system is it a problem to remove the lighting coil from the magneto if I am not using it? Would it throw the balance of the flywheel off?
I saw that but I just cant justify putting a $100+ piston into a old beater trail bike.
I found these..

Took apart my 1970 Aermacchi Harley 125cc engine and the piston is shot. I did some research and found the standard piston size is 56mm and apparently the stroke is 50mm. It is next to impossible to find a NOS piston for this engine but there are many 56mm 2 stroke pistons on ebay, most do not...
FOUND THE PROBLEM. Quick inspection revealed nothing, then I took the head and jug off, piston is cracked around the rings, missing a ring, missing gaskets.. Someone took it apart and slapped it back together just to sell. Thanks for the help.
Yes, although none of these bikes ever have the battery. Bike came with headlight, taillight, a couple other misc. bulbs, horn, ignition switch, rectifier
It could be that I am not testing this motor right. I have both magneto wires directly connected to the ignition coil, no kill switch. Is this correct or am I just stupid? I bypassed all wiring.
