    Cb350 Wacky Performance Issues

Possible, though i feel like if i did that there would be worse consequences, however Its something I will keep in mind. I am also thinking that ignition timing could be an issue. Il be looking into both things tomorrow (spent the nice weekend rock climbing so didnt have time :P)

    Cb350 Wacky Performance Issues

Ok so here is the deal, my cb350 was running aweful so I did a bit of a tune up and it was running totally awesome for about a week. What I did was this... i got new plugs, new orings for my jets, new petcock, checked the valve clearance, checked the points clearance, charged the battery, and...

    1973 Cb350 left cylinder sputtering/backfire

Ok well i figured it out. I bit the bullet and spent the afternoon going over all of the gaps. I found that the left cylinder had gotten too tight making the exhaust valve open early or stay open. My point gaps were also too close. I also reset the cam chain tension and gave it some fresh oil...

    CV carbs and pod filters

Uni filters work much better then the pods as a replacement of the stock airbox. The idea is to achieve the most stagnant air as possible. Plus the red colored uni filters look pretty cool. I run #105 jets on my cb350 and it comes out perfect.

    A Humble CB175 Cafe

After seeing your frame white i think that you might need to do something with the rims and spokes as well, chrome is seeming to have less of a place since you stubbed your front fender and made it black and removed your rear.

    1973 Honda CB350 G back fire issue

Yea its very similar to what happened to me. I would say so long as you do the stuff on this list you will be good to go. 1.) Gap your Intake and Exhaust to spec 2.) verify that you have fuel flow to both carbs (stupid but bad fuel pressure from a bad petcock = fail) 3.) make sure the floats...

    1973 Honda CB350 G back fire issue

I also have a 1973 CB350 that has had some backfire problems. Other then fixing all of the electrical which is a good place to start i have found that it is often the sign of a bad Diaphragm. My right cylinder was backfiring, and running odd even with the timing correct, the valves gaped...
