Spray it with a little crc or similar product, let em sit overnight and then give them a tap with an impact driver, if you don't have one crc overnight and a bit of steel tube on the end of your allen key for leverage should do the trick

once all the bolts are undone it should just pop out, the o ring might be making it a tight fit

If the pin is hollow it might be for a spring to be inserted , is it perhaps the neutral switch spring? or some other spring/cam activated type set sender unit? or it could be a casing dowell thats been knocked around a fair bit
